We call our mastering approach innovative because we can deliver excellent sounding masters for a fraction of the cost of all other mastering facilities in this country which means a better sounding record for the thousands of self-financing independent artists that make up the actual music industry of Australia.

A standard rule is that 10 per cent of your total recording budget should be set aside for mastering.

That is why mastering engineers that deal with $10,000/$20,000 plus production budgets do not have the patience for correcting problems that are common in mixes of a more limited budget.

For the last thirteen years we have been working largely with artists who are financing their own records, and our rates are designed to match. That is our niche.

All surrounded by very high class electronics, just so we can benefit from the warmth and detail of the "classic sound". So anyway, we can now officially nail your "digititis". Vinyl Mastering?? : : Love it.

There is a big shift going on with mastering for vinyl. If we couldn't do it, we'd be out of business.
We are also the preferred mastering house for local pressing brothers Zennith Records because our masters cut better (ie we care about what we do...go figure).

Millenia Media NSEQ-2: Again, one of the worlds best eq's, the pure class-A "twin topology" discreet J-Fet and vacuum tube eq (depending on application) is the very latest addition to the Indie Masters mastering chain. BAREFOOT!: Those of you who have their finger on the pulse would be aware of the relatively recent addition to the world studio monitoring scene that is the Barefoot MicroMain27's. Heralded as the "NS-10" of the new generation of music production, these bare-footed monsters have one great feature: Stunningly accurate full range reproduction of audible frequencies, and beyond..
